Rick Scott says that he's going to focus on jobs, education, and the rule of law; but Gary Borders is running Lake County like his own personal mafia! And the governor is instead involved in promoting an Arizona SB1070-copycat bill - I guess that's his definition of rule of law!

Perhaps he should rule in the out-of-control racist thugs who lock up the wife of an Iraq War veteran & mother of four when she calls the police for assistance in a domestic violence incident!

And this in a county that has never secured a 287(g) agreement: they don't have the legal authority to be enforcing immigration laws!

Stories like this are going to multiply exponentially when Secure Communities is fully implemented: it would appear that Lake County used the authority provided by their enrolment in that program to detain Ms. Cote, but S-Comm is only supposed to be used for those already arrested!

This proves that police are going to overstep their boundaries at every step in the game....
